Registration for Elgin Community College’s (ECC) summer study abroad program is now open. This year’s program will take students to Urbania, Italy, from June 28 through July 28, 2025. Students interested must apply by February 15, 2025, at elgin.edu/studyabroad.

The Elgin Community College (ECC) Center for Emergency Services (CES) secured a $10,000 grant from State Farm Insurance to expand its new Firefighting Career Exploration program, launched in the summer of 2024 through another State Farm grant. The program is open to middle schoolers and rising freshmen.
